An online survey tool designed for workers and managers who are interested in assessing psychosocial hazards in the workplace
Commentary: In 2016, OHCOW commissioned the surveying of more than 4000 Canadians in order to establish a representative baseline to which workplaces in Canada could be compared.
An evidence-based workplace mental health training program customized for healthcare workers. This 2-day program, led by peer educators, builds knowledge, skills and resources to promote early intervention and support for mental health at work, and psychological health and safety in the workplace.
Commentary: Research found that the Beyond Silence program provided more opportunity for contact-based education, healthcare specific content and opportunities for in depth discussion of diverse perspectives (Moll et al., 2018).
A team huddle involves bringing healthcare workers together to provide employees clarity and keep everyone aware, aligned and accountable. This allows them to focus on their work rather than try to figure out what leaders want from them.
